I just came back from Jakarta to attend a wedding party of my cousin. How grateful I am to be back in Borneo. Jakarta is such a crowded city that is unbearable for me, the pollution, the noise, the traffic , all gave me enough headache.
Anyway I am glad that I gave a try the busway, I think this transport is quite helpful and if a lot of people use this service, Jakarta will be less traffic.
Tanjung Puting National Park
Actually this Park is the place where I live and work. It is a beautiful marvellous park that protects orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) and many other endangered species, like the Proboscys Monky (Nasalis Larvatus), Slow Loris (Nicticebous coucang) , Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa, Storm Stork, Dugong (Dugong dugong), etc.
For Indonesian people itself, the Park is not as famous as for the foreigners, from the numbers of the visitors who came to the Park, the local visitors were not more than half of the tourist from abroad. Some of the tourist whom I ever met in the park said that they had to save for a year from their wages to afford to travel to this park. Jadi mengapa kita orang Indonesia tidak menghargainya?
It is really A Beautiful Quiet place that can make you admire the nature and God’s creation and give you a peacefull mind. Proof it if you don’t believe.
